Polka-dots are a hot trend this season that I am in love with! Of course, I am in love with "all things fashion", but this trend is such a classic yet retro-chic statement that I can't help but to attempt to get it into EVERYone's closet. For the females, it's almost self-explanatory. Check out the picture above for a few ideas, but of course, make it your own. I love the "all-over" polka-dot look which includes the spotted tights, but having gotten to know me a little by now, you KNOW I'm going to suggest adding a "pop" of color in there somewhere. Spruce up your all black or solid color garment with cute or spicey polka-dot footwear. As we all know, the shoes can make or break an outfit. Add a nice polka-dot scarf or headband to give a little personality to your classic "office attire".

 Polka-dots can be worn in a mega-cool and personality-exposing way for my stylish guys. Take the polka-dot button-down above and pair it with a baseball cap, straight-leg or bootcut jeans and chucks. Take the same shirt and pull on a vest and a fedora with rolled up sleeves and you've got a totally different look. Want to achieve a look like Pharrell Williams or the always stylish Fonzworth Bentley? Mix your patterns and try a polka-dot bowtie with a "poppin" color button-down and vest.
