Mental health in the minority communities is a very tough topic. Not only have people of color overlooked the problem themselves; up until recently our great Nation even minimized the problem in black communities. I have an autistic adult son, and he is truly a gifted child. I believe he is destined for greatness because he can be so passionate about what he does; it’s almost to a fault. He is the reason I decided to talk about this today.
